IBM Cognos Planning Consultant (remote)

Be in IT is a recruitment company, specialised in sourcing Specialists from the information technology world. Currently, for our client, we are looking for someone in the position IBM Cognos Planning Consultant.

• Long-term cooperation with a top-tier international consulting firm providing IT services to large and mid-sized companies across various industry sectors.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining planning models in the IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 environment (cubes, dimensions, calculation rules).
• Integrating data from external source systems for the planning layer.
• Creating, maintaining, and optimizing reports and dashboards in IBM Cognos Analytics (enterprise reporting, data models).
• Ensuring data consistency and proper data flow between the planning layer (PA/TM1) and the reporting layer (Cognos).
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing performance issues, and supporting potential upgrades of both platforms.

• Practical experience with IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 – designing planning models, managing cubes and dimensions, creating calculation rules, and data integration.
• Practical experience with IBM Cognos Analytics in the area of enterprise reporting – building reports, dashboards, and data models, troubleshooting, and environment optimization.
• Understanding of data flow between the planning layer (PA/TM1) and the reporting layer (Cognos) – ability to connect both areas into a coherent end-to-end solution.
• Willingness to participate in platform upgrade projects (nice to have).
• English proficiency at B2 or C1 level, enabling fluent communication in an international environment.
• ASAP availability preferred; up to a one-month notice period (effective at the end of the month) is acceptable.

• Support in setting up and running a sole proprietorship/business activity for candidates without prior experience in this area.
